Rayman: Jungle Run is now available on the Apple App Store for 1.99.
JUNGLE RUN GAME FULL
The lion running on a certain day went out to the forest and got lost, the jungle is full of challenges and the lion corridor needs to come home house. Each level only lasts a minute or so, but minutes soon become hours as you try to perfect each run. Jungle Lion Run or jump and run Lion is a game of classic style jump and run. If the other three disciplines are half as addictive as the Jumping levels, Rayman: Jungle Run stands to ensnare a lot of smartphone owners. You try again, and again, and soon you won’t even notice you’re hitting restart – you’re just determined to get those fairies. Not a problem, thanks to the instant restart button in the top left corner of the screen, which drops you back at the start of the level quicker than you can actually register it. You run again, you collect a few you missed early on, then you reach that particular set that prompted you to restart – and you miss. And as the spiralling score count at the end shows you how close you were to a perfect score, you reason that the next level can wait until you’ve mastered this one. You were never going to get all of them on your first go, were you? But those five or six fairies could be yours if you’d have just jumped one second later.

And so you happily run through towards the finish line…Īt first, it doesn’t bother you. These are often arranged in lines that indicate the best way through the course, and a quick well-timed tap on the screen will often bag your four or five in a single bound.
The goal of each level is, of course, to reach the end, but bonus points are awarded for collecting the lines of hovering fairies that are littered throughout. Only the jump levels have been playable so far, but those make it abundantly clear how addictive Jungle Run will be.

There are four actions – jump, fly, wall run and punch – each with their own set of levels. Players only control one action to guide him to the end of each level. The auto-run mechanic means that Rayman will constantly dash towards the right of the screen like a floppy-haired Usain Bolt, automatically climbing over small obstacles but stopping when he reaches anything taller. It is a feast for the eyes, but that’s not the main appeal.
JUNGLE RUN GAME ANDROID
Rayman Jungle Run will be available September 20, 2012, for iOS and Android platforms.Rayman: Jungle Run, an auto-run platformer, may sound dangerously like a Temple Run clone, but the game is closely related to Origins: a fluidly animated Rayman running, flying and jumping his way through exotic 2D worlds rendered in a lush artistic style. That said, if the controls work as promised, this is one mobile game we could see our selves spending some serious time with. Keeping the game's controls restricted to a simple "tap to jump" scheme is a smart move on Ubisoft's part, but given the precision that was required in Origins' treasure chest chases, we're still a touch wary. If they don't, Jungle Run could turn out to be a frustrating mess. Obviously, the concern with Jungle Run is that touchscreen controls might not be able to keep pace with the game's platforming challenges. Exclusive wallpapers to unlock for your device.Beautiful graphics supported by Retina Display.Rayman does run automatically, but the game is level-based, not an endless, random string of obstacles and bottomless pits.įor Rayman Origins fans, it's impossible to miss the significance of the music that plays during the trailer at the top of the page - it's the very same tune that accompanied Origins' breathtaking (and, occasionally, excruciatingly difficult) treasure chest chases, and Jungle Run is designed to play much as those levels did: breakneck platforming with a decidedly rhythmic focus. The game spans four worlds, each with nine regular stages and one unlockable "Land of the Livid Dead" level for players who manage to collect all 100 Lums in at least five of a world's stages.Ĭheck out a few screenshots from Rayman Jungle Run, along with Ubisoft's brief description of the game's features, below. The name Rayman: Jungle Run makes the game sound like yet another endless runner, in the vein of Canabalt or Jetpack Joyride, but that isn't exactly the case. Rayman: Jungle Run is the game, and though it runs on the same UbiArt engine that powered Origins, this one is on its way to iOS and Android platforms. Needless to say, the upcoming Rayman Legends has us absolutely stoked - but that game is a Wii U exclusive, and the system is bound to be in short supply when it launches this holiday season.įortunately, Ubisoft has another Rayman title ready to go, and tracking down a copy won't be any trouble at all.

Like all inherently good, honest people, we here at Game Rant are big, big fans of Rayman Origins.
